What About Existing Uses
We recognise the need to consider existing uses of our green spaces such as formal and informal recreation and play spaces, where people walk their dogs, play football or where there are children’s play areas.

These areas will maintain a regular cutting regime as per the existing maintenance approach.

Only where short grass is not necessary, is it proposed to relax grass cutting on some areas. This might include peripheries of parks and green spaces, road verges or amongst areas of new tree planting.
