Thurlestone Housing Needs Survey
In 2016, we conducted a Housing Needs Survey on behalf of Thurlestone Parish Council to identify the housing needs of local people. This information was used to help develop the policies for the Thurlestone Neighbourhood Plan.
Five years on, we need your help again.
Housing needs are constantly changing and a survey can only represent a snapshot in time.
You may have seen that the District Council has recently declared a Housing Crisis in the South Hams. It's more important than ever that we are aware of our local housing needs, so that we can ensure they are met.
We'd also love to hear from anyone with a local connection to Thurlestone who has had to leave the area in the last five years, especially if housing was the main reason they left. A local connection could be that they were born or grew up here, have immediate family here, have lived here in the last five years or worked here in the last five years.
The survey closed on Friday 10 December 2021. We will share the results here in spring 2022.
